10.30am – 1pm: Cultivating Continued Awareness – Full Primary Series Led Class.
The session will start with a brief talk and exercises to cultivate the awareness that leads to a moving meditation. We will then apply what we have learned through a traditional full primary series counted led class. The session will finish with some simple pranayama with a focus on the foundations of breath hold (Kumbhaka)
2 – 4.30pm: Ashtanga Techniques and Yoga Philosophy
About Stewart
Stewart warmly offers an authentic experience of yoga, creating a calm and supportive space for you to gently, but firmly, embody your intuitive self. Stewart began practicing Ashtanga Yoga in Wellington, New Zealand, in 1999 with Gwendoline Hunt, and then Vipassana meditation in 2000. He is ‘Authorised Level 2’ by Sharath, and he practices regularly with Peter Sanson with whom he has completed the ‘Advanced A’ series. He continues to meditate daily and regularly attends meditation retreats.
